Identify kitchen equipment and describe their uses.
Predict the outcome of foods using various cooking methods, as well as Small Equipment & Kitchen Utensils
Demonstrate SAFE and proper use of Small Equipment & Kitchen Utensils.
Demonstrate proper measuring skills
Old-Fashioned Apple Crisp
Ingredients:
4 cups sliced peeled tart apples 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour 1/3 cup rolled oats
1/3 c sugar 1 t cinnamon
1/2 t nutmeg
4 T butter
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Peel, core and chop the apples. Place in baking pan.
- Melt butter. Put butter into bowl; Stir in remainder of dry ingredients.
- Place the mixture on top of the apples in baking pan.
- Bake at 375* for 30-35 minutes.
